Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things recently introduced Florence by Mills, her beauty line, which she considers her lifelong love. Products available within Florence by Mills include Zero Chill Face Mist and Swimming Under Eye Gel Pads – plus, it’s PETA-certified and vegan-friendly!
Recently, a 15-year-old posted a YouTube video detailing her nighttime skincare regimen using Florence by Mills products; viewers quickly noticed that she was neither moisturized nor cleansed, and her eyeliner remained intact after using these products.
Millie Bobby Brown has had quite a fantastic beauty journey from Stranger Things to her cosmetics line Florence by Mills for teens. Recently, she released the video below displaying how she uses Florence by Mills products – however, some viewers believe she was acting! The video even caused debate as some viewers thought she may be falsifying it!
In an interview with Allure, the actress explained that her brand began as an educational experience regarding beauty industry practices and to provide eco-conscious yet user-friendly products for her fans. Gen Z-oriented makeup and skincare lines such as Gen Z Beauty provide products like face mist containing thyme extract and bladderwrack seaweed to shield against environmental stressors while replenishing moisture loss; plus, gel eye masks specifically targeting puffiness or under-eye bags using soothing ingredients are offered under this brand name.
Millie demonstrated one of her products during her tutorial: One Swipe Glow Wipe Treatment Pads are quick and effective exfoliators that use active ingredients like niacinamide (an oil management agent) and salicylic acid to unclog pores and soften fine lines quickly and smoothly. Furthermore, each wipe is enhanced by botanicals like chamomile and lavender for an invigorating experience for refreshed and calmed skin.
Clarifying Mud Mask is another product the star loves, used to purify and refine her skin. The formula features ingredients like niacinamide to reduce excess oil levels, salicylic and glycolic acids to unclog pores, and kaolin clay with lavender and tea tree essential oils – ideal for detoxifying complexion. While suitable for all skin types, care must be taken around delicate areas like the eyes and mouth that could further aggravate it.
Hydrating Face Moisturizer was the final recommendation made by the actress, formulated with plankton extract to protect skin against artificial blue light from electronic devices and quickly absorbable shea butter for long-lasting hydration.
Millie Bobby Brown revealed Florence by Mills in 2019, proclaiming it was two years of hard work and “the love of her life.” Florence by Mills caters specifically to younger audiences with everything from skincare essentials and makeup products, all clean and vegan-friendly, allowing fans of Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown’s line to easily use Florence by Mills products in their daily beauty regimes.
Millie prefers using Florence By Mills Magic Micellar Cleansing Gel as part of her beauty regimen because of its gentle yet effective way of cleansing skin and makeup. Formulated with Vitamin E to nourish the skin while remaining free from sulfates and parabens – making this cruelty-free option the ideal solution to natural skincare regimens.
After cleansing her face with soap and water, she likes to follow up with a gentle and effective exfoliant. Florence By Mills Exfoliating Pads contain physical and chemical exfoliants for an invigorating scrub without overly harsh on her delicate complexion. Plus, their formulation features soothing extracts like tangerine, papaya, and licorice extracts, which nourished and soothed her skin and were free from sulfates and parabens – a bonus when combined with soap!
After her shower, she uses Zero Chill Face Mist to hydrate the skin before bedtime. This light mist infused with lavender and seaweed offers instantaneous relaxation whenever the mood strikes, not to mention that all products in her collection are cruelty-free and paraben-free.

Florence by Mills is a vegan beauty line targeting teens recently launched by 15-year-old actress Millie Mills from Stranger Things. In a video she uploaded to Instagram that has since been deleted, Mills attempted to walk viewers through her nighttime skin care regimen using Florence by Mills products like face mist, scrub, cleanser, and lip oil; however, social media quickly saw this video as fake, as it appeared that Mills wasn’t following through with what seemed like her supposed nightly skincare routine.
Brown took to Instagram to apologize for her video, explaining that she is no expert in the beauty industry and attempted to replicate her actual routine. Furthermore, she wanted to share “a quick video showing my process for tonight without expecting such a harsh backlash.”
Florence by Mills, named after Florence Mills, who inspired it, is inspired by her grandmother, her aunt. Mills wanted a beauty line highlighting individuality, courage, and truthfulness, like Eleven in Stranger Things, as she sought to lead change within Generation Z cosmetics and skincare industries.
Mashable reports that critics quickly note in her YouTube video that she appears to be wearing makeup, with black eyeliner remaining attached as she uses face mist, scrubs her skin and washes her face with soap and water. Furthermore, it appears as though her lips appear stained by lipstick even though she claims she’s washing all of it off with soap and water.
Some fans believe she didn’t use the products and instead pulled a practical joke prank on us all, using them only as part of the act. One Reddit user pointed out her hands weren’t clean after she washed them. At the same time, another commented that she only put moisturizer and scrub around her body rather than using them on herself directly.
Other fans, however, were convinced the video was authentic. They noted how her skin appeared soft and smooth despite washing it and commended her for including lip oil in her routine.
At 15, it can be easy to make questionable skincare choices. Women might try out St. Ives Apricot Scrub, while men could chemically burn their faces with acidic Stridex pads. Millie Bobby Brown appears to have taken this trend one step further in an effort to promote her vegan beauty line Florence by Mills. Recently, she released videos showing her nighttime skincare regimen and nighttime workout regime, which has caused much debate and confusion online.
Millie starts her nearly two-minute clip by spraying herself with Zero Chill Face Mist, although whether or not this product was being used is questionable. After pouring herself, Millie claims she used Clean Magic Face Wash and depuffing gel pads from Floating Under The Eyes Gel Pads before finishing with Dreamy Dew Moisturizer and Glow Yeah Lip Oil to complete her evening regimen.
This video has since been removed from both IGTV and YouTube, yet one version remains and has been watched over one million times on YouTube alone. Commenters have pointed out that Millie wears makeup throughout the video, never looking clean or moisturized after applying each product, nor did her eyeliner come off when she claimed to have rinsed it afterward.
Millie explained in an interview with Allure that she created her beauty brand to meet a specific need: one that was both user-friendly and cost-effective. At under $40 for an entire regimen of products, PETA is certified and 100% vegan. Available to buy at Morphe, Shoppers Drug Mart, Ulta, and Beauty Bay, as well as online.
