Food Zone’s second location opened on May 5 in New Caney at 23020 Speed Street near Speedsportz Race Park and Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures. Unlike its FM 1314 counterpart, this second Food Zone food truck park features restaurants housed within shipping containers arranged around an enclosed turf area and stage for optimal dining experiences.
Burgers
This classic bar is famed for its fantastic selection of craft beers and delectable burgers, drawing visitors from far and wide to enjoy its tasty treats. Enjoy great music and beverages while singing karaoke in this fun atmosphere; their vast and juicy burgers hit the spot, too, using only premium meats and cheeses so you know they taste divine.
Katy boasts a significant population of Venezuelan restaurants and food trucks, many offering Venezuelan choriburgers. Based on a traditional choripan, these burgers can be found topped with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, potato chips, bacon, mozzarella, and slices of deli ham, often with garlic-mayo or guasacaca (creamy avocado salsa). Other choices may include shredded chicken carnitas and pineapple blackberry or blueberry sauces for additional toppings: pineapple blackberry or blueberry sauces!

Chicken Salad Chick, the country’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, will expand into Texas on Tuesday by opening their first Texas location in Amarillo. Led by first-time Chick owner Laura Garrison, who prides herself in being in the “people business,” Chicken Salad Chick Amarillo will host an early Friends & Family event to support Downtown Women’s Center – an organization providing food and shelter services to women and children in need – as part of this Friends & Family fundraiser event to support Downtown Women’s Center as part of their pre-opening Friends & Family event to show their commitment.
At its new home at 23020 Speed Street in New Caney near Big Rivers Waterpark and SpeedSportz Race Park is a restaurant park composed of 17 shipping containers double as dining spots and an entertainment turf field for entertainment purposes. Each shipping container features two containers – the front one acting as kitchen space while its counterpart behind provides storage.
The Food Zone opened for business on May 5 and offers food trucks serving Japanese, soul food, tapas, Caribbean cuisine, wings, and tamales – among many other cuisines! Its unique concept allows customers to sample various forms of cooking without driving all around town – seven days a week, with indoor seating and DJ entertainment on weekends! Plus, all food at The Food Zone uses climate-friendly ingredients, which reduce greenhouse gas emissions during cultivation and processing!

Food Zone Grand Texas, owned and managed by Jesse Flores, opened on May 5, 2013, near Speedsportz Racing Park and Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures in New Caney near Speedsportz Racing Park and Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures in New Caney. Unlike its original location in Porter, vendors here operate out of shipping containers surrounded by a 100-foot by 100-foot turf area that features live music performances and screening of sports events; trucks at this site serve American, Colombian, Peruvian, Vietnamese, and Puerto Rican cuisine!
The menu offers an assortment of sandwiches, tacos, and salads. Their most popular item is their chicken sandwich – served on a brioche bun and topped with house-made cheese sauce; also available are slaw pickles and seasoned fries for a complete meal! Other favorites include enchiladas suizas potato egg breakfast tacos as well as their famous Tres Leches Cake dessert option!
