Preschool Program

Noah’s Ark provides safe, loving childcare while children engage in curriculum-based educational activities in a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere. Teachers assist children in reaching critical developmental milestones with hands-on experiences designed to engage imaginations and spark curiosity; ongoing observation and assessment help guide planning and instruction, ensuring every child is challenged further to grow as a learner. Open from 7 AM – 5 PM Monday-Friday throughout the school year (break weeks are an exception); don’t hesitate to contact Bev Kerpka for more details.

Enrollment spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact us now to arrange a tour!

Before & After School Care

Noah’s Ark Learning Center provides a safe and fun place for your child to play after school, providing an ideal way to alleviate some of the tension they might feel from attending classes all day. Plus, children can release some pent-up energy constructively!

This program offers opportunities for children’s physical, mental, social, and spiritual development. Children will also learn to utilize their imaginations and problem-solving abilities while exploring science, art, music and movement, expressive/receptive language development, pre-reading math, and more! Join today so your children can create lasting friendships while discovering something new!

This facility is licensed to operate a childcare center and boasts a state-wide health permit, while all employees undergo background screening processes before joining this CACFP program.

Summer Kids Program

Our Summer Kids Program offers children a fun-filled summer of educational adventure. Utilizing our monthly activity calendar as a guide, daily activities are planned based on children’s interests. Children are separated based on age into groups where a leader oversees daily activities within each of those groups; crafts materials and supplies and field trip costs are covered within weekly tuition.

Noah’s Ark Preschool provides a six-week summer program from Tuesday to Thursday from June to August. Each week has a different theme, which we explore with crafts, games, movies, and outdoor adventures. Children must be potty trained to attend; we offer flexible scheduling to fit the schedules of parents; children may participate for any number of weeks as needed – this program should not be seen as an extension of Noah’s Ark Preschool but simply another chance for your child to meet friends while learning something new!

Our school-age supervisor carries a cell phone that she will use in emergencies and will also text you if that is your preferred method of communication. Parents are highly encouraged to attend parent night – allowing you to connect with your child’s teacher, ask any questions, and review a calendar of events with them so they are well prepared for daily activities and outings.

Extended Care

Noah’s Ark offers comprehensive childcare and preschool education that inspires children to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Their state-accredited center serves children aged six weeks from 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM each day, and their learning program features exploration, problem-solving skills development, expressive/receptive language acquisition, as well as music/movement classes along with science/math/prereading/social studies activities among others.

Noah’s Ark daycare in Port Orchard provided seven toddlers an environment filled with masking tape squares that marked areas for them to sit without socially distancing, per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. The squares also help ensure children don’t touch faces; one teacher gently reminded one boy who had wandered outside his designated court back into place – while remaining open throughout its pandemic operation with less than half its typical enrollment numbers.
