Yi by Jereme Leung Menu
The 111-seat yi by Jereme Leung has a whimsical entrance and a modern interior decorated in warm earth tones of cream and brown. Besides the menu, the restaurant is home to several artworks, including a 90-foot-long piece of floral strands, the Pale Garden. The service is friendly and the food is beautifully plated.
Hairy crab feast
If you are planning to go out for a hairy crab feast this month, you’ve come to the right place. La Chine is crafting special menus for this unique crustacean. These menus are available today and until the end of the month.
The restaurant offers two menu options – the a la carte and the set menu – which include dishes with hairy crab. The former offers an array of dishes made from hairy crab, including sushi hand rolls, a homemade souffle, and a savory soup.
The menu includes both classic and contemporary hairy crab dishes. Guests can choose the way their crab is cooked and also add various ingredients. They can also choose to add red chili and “Hunan” pepper. Other options include a hand-brewed organic sparkling tea.
The menu also features a complimentary dessert platter, which featured pears and red-vinegar-infused jelly. The sour and spicy combination was reminiscent of the ginger-infused steamed hairy crab. The ginger added a spicy, aromatic edge to the fruit. A garnish of honey almonds completed the dish.
Dim sum buffet
The dim sum buffet at Yi by Jereme Leong offers traditional Chinese delicacies with a modern twist. The restaurant is located in the Raffles Hotel’s City Hall arcade. The decor is modern and elegant, with white motives and lights that bring a sense of sophistication to the space. The prices are generally moderate, which makes them a good value for money for those looking for an affordable Chinese dining experience.
For dinner, the menu features a choice of dim sum specialties, including Wok-Fried String Beans, an exciting riff on the classic Chinese dish. There’s also XO Fried Rice, a hearty signature that goes well with the homemade chilli. And for dessert, there’s the refreshingly sweet Chilled Mango with Sago Pearls, a delicious palate cleanser that goes well with savory dishes. For special Chinese New Year celebrations, the dim sum buffet will feature a special menu every Saturday until the 13th of February, which includes the first day of the Chinese New Year.
The ‘Hairy Crab’ menu, curated by Chef Jereme Leung, is a limited-time menu featuring the crab’s most prized season. This coveted seasonal delicacy is cooked to perfection using modern techniques and traditional methods. The dishes are elegant and refined and will tantalize your taste buds.
