Wrestling News
The news in the wrestling world has changed, and there are plenty of things that you need to know about. For instance, Rick Boogs has been confirmed to return to WWE, and Bray Wyatt is rumored to be Uncle Howdy.
Rick Boogs is returning to WWE.
One of the most famous WWE wrestlers, Rick Boogs, is back in action. He is making good progress in his recovery from an injury he sustained during WrestleMania 38.
The former powerlifter, who competed in the University of Wisconsin wrestling team, has signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). As a result, Boogs has been working as a muscleman and has become an influential figure in the fitness community.
Boogs has also worked on the ring and made several appearances on the SmackDown roster. Most recently, he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura, and they were one of the more popular teams on the show.
In February, Boogs debuted a new gimmick. In a montage that he put together, he presented himself as a rock and roll character. Rocky Balboa inspired it.
Since his return, Boogs has shared several workout videos on his social media accounts. They aren’t just videos of him lifting weights; he also posts clips of him playing guitar in the shower.
Mickie James is once again the IMPACT Knockouts Champion.
Mickie James is the current Impact Knockouts World Champion. She is also one of the five women to hold the title, along with Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus.
In her career, Mickie James has won nine female wrestling championships. She is currently a part of the Impact promotion, but she has previously worked for WWE, TNA, and National Wrestling Alliance. Her last WWE stint ended on an acrimonious note.
This past year has seen a lot of changes in the wrestling business. Many wrestlers have gone to other promotions or been cut from the WWE roster. There have also been several exchanges of talent. One such deal saw James join The Gathering in the United States.
She has since returned to Impact, where she won the Knockouts Championship four times. Now, she is going to compete in the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Mickie James will be fighting Jordynne Grace for the title. This match is a continuation of her “Last Rodeo” tour. When she loses, she retires.
Bray Wyatt is Uncle Howdy
In wrestling news, the name Uncle Howdy has been tossed around a lot lately. This figure has been in and out of WWE since Bray Wyatt returned to the company in October 2022. However, he hasn’t revealed his true identity, but it is rumored that he has a secret identity of his own.
A quick Google search for Uncle Howdy will reveal several options. Some of these are fake, but others are real. The best part is that they have been spotted on WWE television.
He has been seen at WWE’s Performance Center and on the NXT sidelines. He was also spotted at the Royal Rumble. So, who is the man in the blue suit?
A small group of fans believes that he is Bo Dallas. They have been speculating that he is behind the “Uncle Howdy” character in WWE. During his stint in the WWE, Bo was a star, but he was released in April 2021.
Titles will be defended separately at WrestleMania 39
There have been reports of WWE officials discussing the possibility of splitting the World Titles. Previously, the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship was protected as a single title, but it is now believed that the Undisputed Title will be split into two separate tags.
The rumor is that one of the championships could be dropped before WrestleMania 39. This would make the show more interesting. Also, it would give Reigns a chance to lose one of his world titles before defending both at the ‘Mania.
Another possible scenario is that The Rock could headline WrestleMania 39 and defend the titles. Since he is available, this makes sense. However, there are still many questions. Whether or not he will be in the show is a huge question mark.
While there have been reports that the Undisputed and WWE Titles will be defended separately at WrestleMania, it is unknown whether or not they will be supported on different nights. Regardless, it does make sense to have a big match between the two champions.
