Skylanders Imaginators Game Review

2

Skylanders Imaginators is a 3D platform game that features toys that come to life. It was developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. The game is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game also has a multiplayer mode and challenges players to work together to defeat evil.

Character customization

Skylanders Imaginators is a game in which players can customize the characters they control. They can combine various body parts, change their size and shape, and equip tons of gear and weapons. These gear and weapons can boost the stats of their Skylanders. The customization is vastly improved from last year.

This game puts the power of character customization in the hands of young players. Much like Super Mario Maker, Skylanders Imaginators encourages players to design and build their own hero or level in the game. In addition, players can also choose from a wide variety of clothing, accessories, and weapons to personalize their characters.

The new Skylanders Imaginators game lets players customize their characters with custom cards. Each card features a full-color image of the character. The cards are similar to the ones used in Skylanders, and the cards can be placed on a Portal of Power to transform them into fully functioning characters. Players can even upload their designs to Shapeways and YouTube for others to see. These customized character designs can then be used to create trading cards or T-shirts.

Imagine creation crystals

In Skylanders Imaginators, creation crystals are special figures in the game that allow you to create new Imaginators. These figures can be edited at any time, but the Battle Class is permanent. They also have permanent levels and upgrades. There’s no way to reset these, which is why it’s important to carefully choose your Battle Class.

A Creation Crystal is made of a central piece of Imagine crystal and a casing containing several designs. There are ten different designs available, and there are 100 possible combinations. Three are legendary counterparts, and the other nine are common.

Controls

In Skylanders Imaginators, you can create your own Skylanders! Toys for Bob, the developers of Skylanders, has put character creation into the player’s hands, letting them choose from among the hundreds of characters available. While many games make this feature seem like a gimmick, Skylanders does it right.

The controls are simple and intuitive. Once you’ve gotten used to using them, you can then customize your character by choosing from a wide range of preset options and using the randomize function. This means that you can quickly get started, and you can even create a catchphrase for your creations!

Skylanders Imaginators offers four difficulty levels. The first is beginner, with lower damage. The other three levels require a bit more skill to master.

Sensei Skylanders

Sensei Skylander figures have different stats than regular Skylanders. As you level up, they get stronger. You can boost their Attack, Speed, and Defense. However, you can’t equip hats on them. The hats you place on older Skylanders won’t affect Imaginators. They also don’t get Selfie bonuses.

Senseis cannot change upgrade paths without resetting, unlike the other Skylanders. However, they can change their elemental powers and weapon powers, and they can use Secret Techniques. Unlike other Skylanders, Senseis can’t wear hats or be cloaked. They are the only Skylanders not from the Trap Team. They first appeared in Skylanders: Giants. This was followed by Skylanders: Ring of Heroes.
