Additionally, live performances by local bands will round off this year’s car show.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, traffic will be restricted within village streets to prevent lawless behavior such as “burnouts” and drag racing within their lanes.

The Saratoga Auto Museum is an automotive museum in Saratoga Springs, New York, that was established as a not-for-profit organization and affiliated with the American Alliance of Museums. They aim to “preserve, interpret, and exhibit automobiles and related artifacts.”
In 1934, Saratoga Spa State Park established a water bottling plant explicitly built to house this museum. Native Americans once used it for hunting and later for therapeutic baths during the 19th century. Later designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987. Today, year-round programming, exhibitions, and outdoor shows can be enjoyed here at the Saratoga Spa State Park Museum.
The museum boasts an extensive permanent collection of 10 cars and several thousand automotive artifacts, in addition to ground-floor displays of various kinds and a separate exhibition space on its second-floor gallery. Furthermore, educational outreach programs include an anti-distracted driving initiative and restoration programs for underserved teenagers; additionally, the museum hosts an internationally acclaimed collector car auction every fall.
As well as its permanent displays, the museum hosts an ongoing series of temporary exhibitions. The current one features various Porsches from first-generation 911s up through 918 RSs, including a 1998 Porsche GT1 and 1986 Porsche 961 from 1986 as part of an exhibition sponsored by Porsche Cars North America and New Country Porsche.
Apart from Porsches, the museum also houses an impressive collection of muscle cars, such as Hemi models from Corvette and Buick, and an exceptionally rare 1963 split-window Pontiac Trans Am. Additionally, there is a fantastic display of vintage motorcycles, including an original 1912 Harley-Davidson.
The museum recently hired Jim Letts, former CEO of Saratoga Regional YMCA. As executive director, Jim will be charged with increasing membership, raising money, and developing programs. Additionally, their board of trustees is looking into an alliance between themselves and Saratoga Springs City School District that could enhance visibility while drawing in more car enthusiasts to visit their museum.
