A&E Biography
If you’re a fan of history, you’ve likely heard of A&E Biography. This media franchise is a series of documentaries that feature a famous person’s life. Each episode features narration, on-camera interviews, photographs, and stock footage to create an engaging account of the subject’s life.
DWIGHT D. Eisenhower
Eisenhower achieved many achievements during his six-year term as president. He continued most of Roosevelt’s and Truman’s New Deal and Fair Deal programs, notably the New Deal’s emphasis on a balanced budget. He also expanded the United States’ infrastructure, including the Interstate Highway System. The Interstate Highway System was the most significant public works project in U.S. history, and Eisenhower signed it into law. In the process, he built more than four thousand miles of roadways.
Kurt Angle
The A&E biography of Kurt Angle is a fascinating, in-depth look at the man behind the infamous WWE wrestler’s controversial career. The program also includes interviews with some of his key amateur wrestling figures. In one of these interviews, Angle discussed the possibility of a future film. He also discusses his life outside of wrestling.
Lex Luger
Lex Luger’s a&e biopic will explore his life after a spinal stroke 15 years ago. This will give fans a unique look into the life of the former professional wrestler and his family. Originally scheduled to air on the Peacock network, the show has been delayed. The WWE did not give an official reason for the delay. However, Lex Luger did talk to Sports Illustrated about his life and health. The article also discusses his hopes of getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Edge
WWE legend Edge is the subject of a new A&E Biography on Sunday, August 21 at 8/7c. The series will explore his journey from the Canadian wrestling circuit to the WWE. Fans of the legendary wrestler can watch the premiere episode free of charge.
Bill Goldberg
Bill Goldberg is best known for his television career, but there’s a lot of history behind his rise to success in professional wrestling. In addition to being a world champion, Goldberg also has a long and varied list of other accomplishments. He was once an NFL player before retiring in 2004. He has also appeared in films and TV shows.
D-Generation X
If you’re a fan of professional wrestling, you’ll likely love this new A&E biography of D-Generations X. This group, known as D-X, gained prominence in the 1990s and dominated the ring. In this episode, DX is featured along with Triple H and Chyna. The episode will air on 8/7c.
The Bella Twins
The A&E biography on The Bella Twins follows the twins’ career in WWE. The twins, who were drafted to the Raw brand in 2009 during a supplemental draft, made their main roster debut in April 2009. They were part of a team that won the eight-Diva tag team match. During the match, Nikki Bella reunited with Brie. The duo was under the ring together, but Beth Phoenix eliminated Nikki.
Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio is set to be featured in an upcoming episode of the A&E WWE Biography. Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Mysterio was raised by his mother, who crossed the border to become a U.S. citizen. Mysterio began training under his uncle Rey Misterio when he was just a kid. Despite being the heir apparent to a former pro wrestler, Mysterio has remained true to his roots.
